I am a painter, filmmaker and photographer.  I am interested the formal qualities of all three media - texture, colour and structure.  The three media influence each other, the photographs feed into the films which in turn inform the direction of the paintings. My work is informed by many things including archives, history, and the natural world.

I spend a great deal of time outside, swimming, kayaking, running and cycling and I find that these activities inform a lot of my work both directly and indirectly
